our farm

Tapestry Flower Farm is an urban farm made up of two plots of land in the Cully neighborhood of NE Portland.  Our home field is where we grow the majority of our garden roses and is also the location where you can pick your orders.  Just down the road is our second field, where we grow our bearded iris and dahlias, along with a collection of inspiring accent plants and an overflow of our roses.

Both of our farms are just a quick 10-15 minute drive east of the Portland Flower Market, making it an easy stop when you’re out collecting product for your weekly orders or weekend’s events.

what we grow

Our season starts in late Spring with ruffly tall bearded iris, followed by fragrant garden roses and continues through Summer into late Autumn with our collection of swoon-worthy dahlias.  Our selection of varieties and colors change each year, as old fads die and new trends emerge.

We grow all of our flowers using organic practices. While we pride ourselves in producing beautiful blooms, we find it equally important to support the environment and co-exist with nature. We use only organic fertilizers and amendments to strengthen our plants and enrich the biodiversity of our soil. When necessary, we use organic soap, oil and mineral sprays to combat disease and love introducing beneficial insects to help bring things back into balance when pests have gotten out of control. Basically, we never ever use chemicals on any of our plants – they’re not good for us, they’re not good for you, and they’re not good for the planet.
